What does ‘adoption’ mean in the defence and security context and what is DIANA’s role in it?

Within the defence and security context, the term ‘adoption’ means that a technical solution has been integrated into existing capabilities or formed new capabilities and has been fielded for use by military end-users.

DIANA’s role in adoption by defence and security end-users is led by its ‘Rapid Adoption Service’, which aims to connect DIANA innovators into NATO and Allied opportunities to facilitate adoption of the solutions they proposed in response to Challenge Calls.
